About Me
You can tell by my username that I'm a fan of Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog. I'm also a big fan of Pokémon, Star Fox, Donkey Kong, Kirby, The Legend of Zelda, Super Smash Bros., and of course, RollerCoaster Tycoon.
My first PC game was the original RollerCoaster Tycoon. I used my dad's old computer to play RollerCoaster Tycoon Deluxe and RollerCoaster Tycoon 2. I would play both games at my dad's house for hours and hours every weekend. During the summer of 2013, I played through RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum! on my laptop through Steam . I thought the game was great and I loved the new coasters, the new flat rides, building water parks, and building safaris. I started playing video games ever since I was 4 years old and after all of these years, I'm still playing RollerCoaster Tycoon. To me, these games withstand the test of time and I'll keep playing them no matter how old I get!
As mentioned above, I'm a big fan of Nintendo. I've recently been enjoying the Nintendo Switch and it's main gimmick as a hybrid console. As a fan of both Nintendo and RCT, I hope that one day there will be two RCT games for the Switch. One game would be called RollerCoaster Tycoon Collection, a compilation featuring the first three games and their expansion packs. Instead of being ported, the games would be remastered with some improvements. The other game would be called Roller Coaster Tycoon Switch, a new installment with new scenarios, new rides, new features, and Nintendo-themed content. I made a blog about this and I would appreciate anyone checking it out, because I really want it to happen. I originally had this idea for the Wii U but the console has been discontinued in favor of the Switch.
In June 2015, after over a decade of playing RCT Deluxe and RCT2 on my dad's old computer, I decided to uninstall the games and retire the computer. I plan on getting a new computer soon so that I can still play the games at the cost of starting all over again. I've been restarting games my whole life and I don't mind playing these games from the beginning. It may be a hassle, but I have no problem with it. I also might get a retail version of RCT3 Platinum! since my laptop got screwed up. I have a USB Flash Drive so that I can store all of the save data from the RCT games while saving extra space on the computer's hard drive. As soon as this happens I will upload screenshots of my completed scenarios.
