Inverted Impulse coasters are produced by Intamin AG. There are currently seven installations worldwide. Two main track layouts exist. The first has a twisted front spike and a straight rear spike of the same height, with certain models having a holding brake on the rear spike. One example of this first design is Vertical Velocity at Six Flags Great America. The second design has two twisted spikes and no holding brake. Currently, the only example is Wicked Twister at Cedar Point. |
