In Real Life
It is based off the HUSS manufactured ride of the same name. They were first manufactured in 1972, since then, there have been many variants and inspirations of the ride throughout. Originally manufactured by HUSS Park Attractions and German engineer Anton Schwarzkopf. The ride was predated from another ride, the Passat which opened in 1964. As of today, Enterprises are manufactured by HUSS, Schwarzkopf, and Heinz Fähtz. The ride is named after the USS Enterprise from the TV series Star Trek.
