You can also buy land to the side of the Go-Kart track and inside of the area taken by The Storm, but this is not recommended. It is also useful to save money along the way and build one or two expensive rides in year 3, as well as delete and rebuild your gentle and thrill rides. If rides get older, their value (and henceforth your park value) drops.

Overview

A small theme park with a few rides and room for expansion - Your aim is to double the park value.

Katie's World (Katie's Dreamland in the UK Release of the Game) is a medium-sized hilly park with a few good rides. There is minimal open land to work with, so building a new roller coaster will be difficult (unless you build one in The Storm's place if it crashes, or underground). This is another scenario with a goal of park value, rather than guest count and park rating, which makes it trickier.

Katie's World is actually a recreation of Lightwater Valley, a theme park located in North Yorkshire, England. The rides in Katie's World are near identical to the real life counterparts that were present at that time of the games release, but contain some minor differences.

The Storm is a recreation of The Ultimate , which was the worlds longest Roller Coaster in 1999. The Storm follows the same path of the Ultimate (including the harsh turns through the forest, double lift hill and figure 8 tunnle) but is considerably shorter; most notibly the first drop is followed by several large, shallow hills on The Ultimate, not just one as shown on The Storm. The Ultimate's cars are actually themed as mine trains and the lift hills are wooden (but the rest of the track is tubular steel) which explains the use of the Mine Train coaster in the game. However, only the first train is baby blue - the second is neon red.

Runaway Plumber is a recreation of the Rat Ride (Renamed "Raptor Attack" in 2009). However, Rat Ride is actually a Crazy Mouse Coaster. The game had used a Steel Mini Roller Coaster instead. It is unclear if Runaway Plumber follows the same course as Rat Ride as it is a dark ride, so seeing the layout of the track is near impossible.

Forest Flyer is a recreation of the now closed Batflyer . Its colour, ride type, track and location are near identical to the real ride. However, the Batflyer used a vertical lift rather than a shallow incline, but this was a technical limitation of the game.

Two Roller Coaster's are missing from Katie's World that were present in Lightwater Valley at the time: The Viper (a City Jet Roller Coaster, now closed) andThe Ladybird (a Steel Mini Coaster).

Katie's World - finished

Katie's World is the second park with a Park Value goal, though this time it is $15,000 that you are striving for. You start with fewer rides than Diamond Heights, so it is balanced. Start by researching Shops and Stalls to get a Drink Stall and maybe another food stall, and hiring some staff.

The Storm can crash at any time in this scenario: one option is to demolish it outright and build something else in its place - a steel roller coaster in the same formula can be a good replacement for it. Another option is adding brakes on top of the where the track has two short underground sections, set to 27 MPH, or simply reducing it to a single train. It still can't hurt to assign it its own mechanic by giving him a patrol at the exit and give the ride an inspection time of every 10 minutes, since a breakdown will make the waiting time very long.

Though Runaway Plumber is also prone to crashing, it can be saved if you close and put a brake section before the station. If you have Corkscrew Follies installed, you may find it useful to put a sign on the exit path for Runaway Plumber and set it to "No entry".

Also, the queue time for the Runaway Plumber is extremely long (16 minutes!), so make sure to shorten the line, as guests will soon become angry.

If you wish to build a fourth roller coaster, the best place to do it would be the blank space next to Runaway Plumber (directly forward from the park entrance, at the end of the park). Continue to build rides throughout the scenario, and if you are still short around July of year 3, demolish the old gentle and thrill rides that were already built and build new ones in their place.
