Park Value

From RollerCoaster Tycoon Wiki Wiki, the RollerCoaster Tycoon encyclopedia that anyone can edit.

Park value measures the collective value of the rides and objects within a park. Much of the park value is determined by the physical value of the rides and attractions themselves; in essence, the amount of money that the player would receive if every ride and attraction in the park were demolished. However, park value is also influenced by various factors, including the popularity of certain rides and the number of guests in the park.

Adding new rides increases the park value, while demolishing rides decreases the value. Since rides age and gradually decrease in value over time, the park value will decrease gradually as well. Other factors into park value are much more difficult to calculate, but have less of an overall impact on the park value.

Obtaining a certain park value before a deadline is the goal of multiple scenarios, including Diamond Heights and Dinky Park/Pokey Park from RollerCoaster Tycoon.
