Overview

A four lane steeplechase ride is the centerpiece of this expanding park.

The park begins with four large, Single-Rail Roller Coasters racing against each other. There is also a Ferris Wheel, Spiral Slide, and a Merry-Go-Round. You do have the ability to buy land, although it's $80 per square, you do have enough money to buy it all from the start if you get a loan or demolish some of the rides.

Scenario Guide

Remember:
  • The Scenario Guide below is only a suggested strategy for completing this scenario—it may not work for all players.
  • The General Scenario Guide and Hints and Tips articles may also provide helpful information in completing this scenario.
  • There are usually multiple strategies to successfully completing a scenario; these can be discussed on the scenario's discussion page or written down in an existing or additional section of this article.

You start with a decent park, but you should really lower the entrance fee to $20. People aren't as poor as in the previous scenarios, so you can raise it again after expanding the park.

Set your research to Thrill Rides, since you start with a decent selection of roller coasters, and add some gentle rides to the mix later.

Start by hiring additional staff, each 1 mechanic and handyman by far isn't enough to care for your rides. Now reduce the ferris wheel to 1 rotation and increase the maximum allowed people on the slide to 5 (if you decide to keep it). Reduce the maximum waiting time on the Steeplechase rides to 10 seconds, since they are synchronized and so a single one without passengers can create huge waiting times for the other three. Since a breakdown can cause the same problem, have a mechanic patrol exclusively around those four rides.

After stalls are placed, start building rides around the stations of the Steeplechase coasters. If you build compact and remove the slide, you can add 2 or 3 more coasters in this corner. Also build a roller coaster near the entrance to welcome thrill seeking guests properly. Time is of the essence, since you have only 2 years to complete this scenario, so you might consider relying on some premade rides and of course marketing campaigns.
