Barony Bridge

Overview

An old redundant bridge is yours to develop in an amusing park.

Barony Bridge is (as the name says) a simple bridge consisting of a single path. It is an unusual scenario because it has two admission gates, one on each end. Your only building space is the water around the bridge (which is flat) and two small islands owned by the park. Furthermore, the theme park is pretty big with enough space for multiple rollercoasters. However, there aren't any pre-built rides on Barony Bridge and not many rides are available from the start either. In the beginning you will struggle with filling all the space. Later in the game it may be advised to build a transport ride as the theme park can rapidly grow with the addition of rides built on water.

Scenario Guide

Remember:
  • The Scenario Guide below is only a suggested strategy for completing this scenario—it may not work for all players.
  • The General Scenario Guide and Hints and Tips articles may also provide helpful information in completing this scenario.
  • There are usually multiple strategies to successfully completing a scenario; these can be discussed on the scenario's discussion page or written down in an existing or additional section of this article.

Barony Bridge is unique in the way that it has two park entrances, with a path leading straight from one entrance to the other. In the beginning you won't have many researched rides, nor are there any pre-built rides.

Barony Bridge - finished

Start by building some thrill and gentle rides along the bridge. The Wooden Roller Coaster is very expensive, so you should consider concentrating your research on Roller Coasters in the beginning. Both the Bobsled Roller Coaster and the Steel Wild Mouse Roller Coaster will then be researched very soon. Just use the Water Slide as a substitute until then. Make sure to build rides close enough to the bridge so they attract the attention.

Rollercoasters are best to be build away from the bridge to expand the theme park. Later in the game you can connect the rides on both sides of the bridge via a transport ride, i.e. the chairlift.

Notice that if you won't put research on stalls and rely only on burger bar and hot dog stall you will get the worst food park award, which will give your guests an excuse not to come to your park, so put research on shops and stalls too for a while in the scenario.
