Overview

The local authority will not allow any kind of advertising or promotion, so this park must succeed by reputation only.

A park that forbids you from starting market campaigns.

Scenario Guide

Remember:
  • The Scenario Guide below is only a suggested strategy for completing this scenario—it may not work for all players.
  • The General Scenario Guide and Hints and Tips articles may also provide helpful information in completing this scenario.
  • There are usually multiple strategies to successfully completing a scenario; these can be discussed on the scenario's discussion page or written down in an existing or additional section of this article.

Due to the fact that advertisement is forbidden in this park, you will need to do whatever you can to have your guests leave happy. Start off by building a Wooden Crazy Rodent Roller Coaster, because they are cheap and never get old, accompanied by some gentle and thrill rides. For the sake of saving space and to avoid making guests unhappy, keep the queuing lines short for all of your rides, they shouldn't have to wait longer than 5-6 minutes. Build tracked rides underground to save space and keep excitement ratings high, with the exeption of the Car Ride, Go Karts, and Crazy Rodent-type coasters, which should remain on the surface.

Exciting rides are a sure-fire way to attract guests, but not many roller coasters and Thrill Rides are available at the start, so devote your Research priorities to those fields.

Awards in this park are highly beneficial, as they improve your park's reputation and attract more guests. The Best Value Park Award, as well as the Safest Park Award, can dramatically increase your guest count, so work hard to achieve these. Fill gaps with decoration to earn the Most Beautiful Park Award as well. Listen to your guests' comments to know what has to be done to keep you park rating high (preferably over 900). If you are a bit short of guests in the third year, try cutting prices on shops and stalls and replacing older rides with new attractions, but watch your cash - it'll take several good roller coasters to meet the high guest count here.

Pickle Park - Finished

People are quite poor in this area, so keep your entrance fee below $40, otherwise your guests will be broke soon and leave your park. Having some free rides and also free food and drinks makes your guests stay longer and leave your park happy (or not at all) instead of hungry, broke and tired. A few well constructed coasters with high capacity can easily earn all the money you need.

From trial and error, the last resort tactic is to put a "no entry" sign to let no one leave the park, followed by making everything free to counteract the mad guests. Best used in
August/September of year 3. Not the best option (and the ethics are questionable), but it has worked.
