RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 Tutorial

Overview

RollerCoaster Tycoon provides a simple tutorial, that teaches new players the basics of the game. The tutorial features the first park used in the game, Forest Frontiers.

Tutorial Walkthrough

The tutorial does everything by itself, so you don't need to do anything but sit back and watch. In the tutorial, the game takes control of your mouse (you can regain control at any time by pressing a key or mouse button). Hovering over all of the used buttons to show the mouseover box, it constructs a Merry-Go-Round, and makes paths to its entrance and exit. Next, it builds a custom Steel Mini Roller Coaster, and shows how to remove trees while building it. Then the new roller coaster is tested, and the tutorial views its test data, then raises its price from $2.00 to $2.50. After that, a new mechanic is hired and the cursor sits idly while you watch the roller coaster do its cycle. Finally, your mouse hovers to the menu and exits to the title screen.
