First of all, consider demolishing Frightmare, as its nausea rating is far too high. It will net a nice sum which allows you to replace it with several other coasters. Also the path system needs some work.

Build a few smaller coasters like Wooden Crazy Rodent Roller Coaster and Launched Coasters to start generating profit. As money accumulates, add more roller coasters and smaller attractions, maintaining a wide variety of rides to please everyone who visits the park.

Listen to your guests' comments. Don't be afraid to add shops and stalls at every corner if you have to, so long as your rides are bringing in plenty of money. Hire plenty of staff to keep your park perfectly clean and throw in some entertainers which help you countering the park rating handicap. It's easier to attract guests in the first year, so pull out your maximum loan to give your park a jump-start with some exciting roller coasters if that's what it takes. Keep your park rating up, keep building rides and advertise frequently--you'll need to pull out all the stops to succeed here.

If you stop expanding and advertising, you will start losing guests at an alarming rate, so you better keep a safety cushion.
