How to win?

I know it says at least $8000 profit from Ride Tickets, so I got $9000+ in one month. I was confused, but noticed my overall profit was less than $8000, however the next month, I got $9000+ for ride tickets and $8000+ overall, and yet it still ticked over into the next month.
