Talk:The Flat Rides Rating List

Necessity?

I mean no offense to anyone, but do we really need this article? My understanding of excitement ratings is that they change depending on a variety of factors; they deprecate with age, and are affected by the surroundings of the ride (scenery, other rides, etc). Is a list of the basic ratings all that useful, then? Sure, this can be a fairly good benchmark for the flat, non-tracked rides, but is there any point to knowing the ratings for the shortest Tram or Maze possible? The ratings of tracked rides have even more factors to take into consideration. Sorry if there's something I'm missing, but I'm just skeptical. At the least, remove the data for the tracked rides, and add Thrill rides to the list too - no need to make several articles for different classes of ride. Alternatively, we could integrate this information into the pages for the rides themselves. What do you think? Chozo01 21:38, July 30, 2010 (UTC)
