The basic Path Items in RollerCoaster Tycoon: Loopy Landscapes

Path items are accessories placed on footpaths that provide comfort to your guests and beautify your park. Each type of item has a different effect. All path items(besides signs) can be vandalized if a guest becomes angry.

Types of Items

Benches

Benches allow guests to rest. Guests usually sit on benches when they are low on energy, have high nausea, or are consuming food or drink. Placing too many benches can cause guests to delay fulfilling their bodily needs(food, drink, bathroom), causing them to have unhappy thoughts and lowering your park rating.

Cost: $5

Trash Cans

Trash cans allow guests to dispose of food waste and rubbish. These alleviate the litter problems in your park. They require emptying by your handymen/janitors after being used by large amounts of guests.

Cost: $3

Lamps

Lamps do not serve any useful purpose in Roller Coaster Tycoon and Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, because there is no night feature. They are purely decoration. In Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, lamps are required to light paths during nighttime.

Cost: $4/5/6 (different styles)

Banner signs display custom messages, broadcasting over the path. Banner signs cannot be vandalized like other path items. Banner signs also have a "Do Not Enter" function that prevents guests from passing under it(staff, however, will not obey no-entry signs).

Cost: $25/30 (different styles)

Jumping Fountains

Jumping Fountains (or Jumping Snowballs) launch water (or snowballs) over the path. They do not serve any purpose except for decorations. If you put many of these over your paths, your guests will think, "These jumping fountains are great." Jumping fountains/snowballs cannot be vandalized.

Cost: $20
