Creating a Template
Using a Template
Templates are a good way to create a clean, unified look throughout the Wiki. Having pages consistant helps guests better understand the Wiki.
Referencing Templates
IMPORTANAT NOTE: Do not change a template unless specifically told to by an admin, etc. or before asking to. If a template is changed, all pages using this template will be affected. To use a template as a basis, substitute it into the article.
Referencing a template onto an article is like directly copying it. If you edit the template after Referencing it will affect all pages using this template. To use a template as a basis, but change the information just for the page you are editing, substitute the template into the article.
To Reference a template onto a page, use the wiki markup: Template:Templatename. When the page is saved, the template will appear on the page.
