Instructions

  • If this is your first scenario upload, create a new sub-page for your user name by entering [[/Your Username]] on this page and then saving it.
  • Open up the newly created link (which will appear red) and use this page to upload all of your custom rides.
  • Click the Add File button at the top of the window.
  • Click Upload at the top and browse to the directory where the scenario is located.
  • After the file is uploaded, click the Insert File button.
  • Add a short caption underneath the link to the file.
  • To download files, click on the link, then click on the file name, which is located above the licensing and date information.
  • NOTE: If a design does not show up in-game, a used vehicle or track part might not be available or researched yet in your park.

Rules and Guidelines for uploading rides

  • The RollerCoaster Tycoon Wiki supports scenarios from all three games.
  • Only upload original works that you yourself have created. Do not upload the work of others without their direct permission. We also don't need any of the scenarioes from the game because, well, everyone already has them.
  • Please only upload scenario files here, and please ensure they are "clean" from any viruses, etc.
  • There is no set way to set out your section of the scenario exchange. If you are adventurous, you could even come up with a name for your "company". While there is no set style to follow, users should be able to easily download your creations and it should be clear the name and and version (game and expansion) necessary for your scenario.

A massive theme park, with a large racing roller coaster complex at the entrance.

All of these savegames are sandbox versions of the official scenarios. All rides that were researchable in a particular scenario are available from the start. All Land/Construction rights for sale have been bought. There is no goal to reach. Money is not used. No landscaping or building has been done. Parks that were opened prior to game start probably have a changed visitor count due to vehicle research. Date is reset to March, Year 1.

  • Note: All of these were created using a trainer to edit the goals, so you most probably need the Drexler Patch [1], or your game might crash to desktop or reject the savegames upon loading them due to the game's internal cheat protection. This will not affect legally created savegames.
  • Note: When changing the goals I had to reselect which rides are available. This usually has added all special tracks, even if they were NOT available in that scenario originally (i.e. Vertical Loop for Wooden RC in Dynamite Dunes). Sadly, I could not prevent this. This does not apply to vehicles.
  • Note: These were created using v.1.20.013 german. It was not tested yet if they work on other versions. Please inform me if they work/don't work on your game version.
  • Update 2011-04-15: Until I get RCT to run in fullscreen on my widescreen monitor, I can't use the trainers, which means I can't create new sandboxes. The trainers won't recognize RCT in windowed mode for whatever reason.
