Description
Rip Tide is a ride found in the Soaked! expansion for RollerCoaster Tycoon 3. A round car with several seats around it carries passengers. The ride then spins at a diagonal angle.
In Real Life
The Rip Tide is modeled after the Wipeout or Trabant, which also has a surf theme. They are manufactured by Chance Rides. The first known model was built in 1961, it has been since fully restored and is still operating.
