The main difference about Crater Lake, compared to other parks, is that building on water is more expensive than building on land. This can also cause trouble to inexperienced players not accustomed to custom ride design. These should try their hands near the bordering land, since it is shallower and thus allows for more height above. On the other hand, being close to water increases the excitement rating of all roller coasters and the water isn't too deep, so altogether, any player should be fine here.

In order to win this scenario, players just have to build a typical theme park with a variety of rides and advertise to get the 1,300 guests. A pier network as in Paradise Pier2 can also ease that challenge for anyone frightened by Crater Lake's uneasy landscape
