Competitions are special scenarios in the original RollerCoaster Tycoon. These scenarios were created for the official "Hasbro Competition Land" held in 1999, the majority of the parks use the same landscape, but some of them are different. The only rides available were the ones subject to the competition. You generally had around $25,000 to build the ride. The objectives of most of the scenarios are to build the best roller coaster you can.
