Competitions are special scenarios in the original Roller Coaster Tycoon. These scenarios were created for the official "Hasbro Competition Land" held in 1999. The only rides available were the ones subject to the competition, such as Steel Mini Roller Coaster Competition would only allow you to build a steel mini roller coaster. You generally had around $25,000 to build the ride. The objectives of each scenario are to build the best rollercoaster you can.
