Trains are articulated and have flanged running wheels to allow for a smoother ride on twisted track.

In [[RollerCoaster Tycoon 2]] and [[RollerCoaster Tycoon 3]], the Wooden Twister Roller Coaster was combined with the traditional Wooden Roller Coaster, with the additions of vertical loops.

===In Real Life===

*Although the vertical loop is often in the RollerCoaster Tycoon games, only one wooden coaster has had a legitimate loop. The ride was Son of Beast in Kings Island. Son Of Beast had its loop removed in the winter of 2006/2007 becuase of a maintenance costs.
