It was based off the S&S manufactured thrill ride of the same name (S&S Sky Swat). Two models were built, the first was at the now defunct Six Flags AstroWorld, opened in 2003 as SWAT, when Six Flags Astroworld closed in 2005, the ride was relocated to Six Flags New England in 2006 as Catapult, and the second model opened in 2005 UK's Thorpe Park as Slammer. The S&S Sky Swat was discontinued 2010, due to this, the Catapult ride at Six Flags New England was removed in March 2013, leaving the Slammer at Thorpe Park the only remaining Sky Swat in the world. On May 4, 2017, the Slammer closed. |

Sky Swat is a thrill ride introduced in the RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Expansion Pack Wild!
