Template:Devlopment On August 14, 2010, fans of the RollerCoaster Tycoon games were asked by Atari officials (through their forums) what they would like to see implemented in a fourth installment of the game. They also stated that they were "thinking hard about the next RollerCoaster Tycoon game on PC".[1] Many fans assumed that this meant a fourth installment was in development. However, the only game that has been released since then was RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D for the Nintendo 3DS, while another release was announced for the iOS and Android mobile systems. Since Atari declared bankruptcy in January 2013, there is currently no official information on the fourth PC release of RollerCoaster Tycoon

In 2013, RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 was supposively announced to be under development by Red Coin Games, with a trailer on Youtube. However, Red Coin Games has confirmed that this trailer is fake, no word on if the actual game is in Development. Though I have heard rumors of Dreampark Studio to be made by Red Coin Games.

Through still, the Roller Coaster Tycoon franchise hasn't died. Chris Sawyer is still making games with his recent(as of November 2013)release of the Transport Tycoon app. This means he could make another game with another company, though no offical information has been released on this topic.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Also, very recently, Frontier Developments(Worked on RCT3) released coaster crazy to the WiiU.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Through, if you really need one like RCT3, I recommend checking out this website: http://rct4releasedate.com/best-rct4-alternatives/
