The fourth installment in the series, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D has been officially announced recently. The game will be developed by n-Space and published by Atari. The legal section on the bottom of the official website also credits Chris Sawyer, so there is a possibility that he is working on the game as well. It was scheduled to be released around March 2012 in North America as Nintendo World reported.[1] But this date was missed and the new release date should be May 22, 2012.[2]
It will feature a Coaster Creator and a Sandbox mode. Like in RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, the player will be able to ride the roller coaster he constructed.
