The fourth installment in the series, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3DS has been officially announced recently. The game will be developed by n-Space and published by Atari. Nintendo World reports it will be released around March 2012 in North America.
It will feature a Coaster Creator and a Sandbox mode. Like in RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, the player will be able to ride the roller coaster he constructed.
