Other Information

The monorail is the fastest form of transport ride, attaining speeds of 23 mph (RCT and RCT2). If you have a very large and moderately flat park with lots of rides, a monorail can be a very efficient form of transport if it is built in a loop around the park.

The monorail can also be used in shuttle mode, where it starts from one station and goes to the other, stops, and goes backwards to the initial station.

The only problem with the monorail is that it dramatically decreases speed when attempting to traverse a hill. The problem can be avoided if the monorail track is completely level.
