Other Information
- To give the feeling of flight, the passengers ride in a lying-down position. The track can twist to allow the riders to travel face-up with the track below them, or suspended face-down with the track above them.
- The station platform can be suspended (upside-down). To do so you have to build a track piece 1 space above the ground, build a in-line twist, and select 'Station Platform' in the special track piece list.
- Because of lying-up and down position, in Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, it is called "Lay-down Roller Coaster" Instead. Another Flying Roller Coaster is about really flying in lying-down position but when carrying people, the train gives comfortable sit restraints and locks to flying mode when departure while this coaster needs people to lay above the train.
- Unlike the second game, flying stance station really breaks the law of gravity and is too difficult to carry people in lying-down position so that is why second game removes another station piece from Lay-down Roller Coaster and gives the upside-down station to the new Flying Roller Coaster.
