Overview

Free of financial restrictions, your challenge is to expand this desert park to attract people seeking ultimate thrills.

Extreme Heights is one of the expert scenarios available in RollerCoaster Tycoon 2. The park is set in the middle of a desert, and you are free from finacial limits. The best way to describe the park is it is a more difficult version of Arid Heights from the RollerCoaster Tycoon games. It has similar victory conditions, however you are required to generate more guests in this park. The park starts off with a pre-built roller coaster and a few shops.

Scenario Guide

Remember:
  • The Scenario Guide below is only a suggested strategy for completing this scenario—it may not work for all players.
  • The General Scenario Guide and Hints and Tips articles may also provide helpful information in completing this scenario.
  • There are usually multiple strategies to successfully completing a scenario; these can be discussed on the scenario's discussion page or written down in an existing or additional section of this article.

This is a park that will consist mostly of Roller Coasters. At the beginning of the scenario, no gentle rides are available, and you are limited with your thrill rides. During the course of the scenario, you'll devlop a few, but the game researches mostly new Roller Coasters and Themes.

This isn't neccessarily a bad thing, due to the amount of space you have and the lack of financial restrictions. Keeping the rating above 700 should not prove to be a very difficult challenge, because a rather successful roller coaster already exists. The biggest challenge of this particular park is actually playing through long enough to attract the required amount of guests. If you have alot of time on your hands, you shouldn't find this park all that difficult.

Notice, that if you click on your guests you will see that your guest intensity rating is "6 and above", so gentle coasters won't work out, good coasters to attract guests to the park is a coaster with high excitment ratin, but keeping the intense of the ride extreme or very high, or you building will be for no one.
