* The [[Alton Towers]] and [[Fort Anachronism]] scenarios were first released as DLC for the base version of RCT1 before being bundled with [[Loopy Landscapes]].
* Several [[Competitions|competition scenarios]] were released, each with the [[objective]] of "Build the best <ride name> you can!". These were the only scenarios in RollerCoaster Tycoon to have this objective. (It is technically still present in RCT2, but it's impossible to create a scenario that utilises it.)
* Three promotional scenarios were created for inclusion with magazines: [[PC Player]], [[PC Gaming World]] and [[gameplay]].
