The company began its roots in Utah. Two engineers, whose names were Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney, decided to form a videogame company in 1971. Its former name was Syzygy, then changed its name and became the famous Atari company.
The company declared bankruptcy in 2012 and was forced to pass on or sell its franchises.
