Description:
The Air Powered Roller Coaster is a roller coaster in which the train is launched at high speeds up a vertical stretch of track, goes over the top, and down the other side. The ride can get very high excitement and intensity ratings and high nausea ratings if built correctly. The speed of launch ranges from 67 to 112 miles per hour. To keep intensity and nausea in control, RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 recommends the train crest the spike at minimal speed. In RollerCoaster Tycoons 1 and 3, it was possible to operate the ride without a complete circuit (In RollerCoaster Tycoon 1, this usually ends up a crash).
