''[[RollerCoaster Tycoon]]'' provides a simple tutorial, that teaches new players the basics of the game. The tutorial features the first park used in the game series, [[Forest Frontiers]].
==Tutorial Walkthrough==
The tutorial does everything by itself, soallowing youthe don't needplayer to do anything but sit back and watch. In the tutorial, the game takes control of yourthe mousecursor (youthough the player can regaintake over control at any time by pressing a key or mouse button). Hovering over all of the used buttons to show the mouseover box, itthe tutorial constructs a [[Merry-Go-Round]], and makes paths to its entrance and exit. Next, it builds a custom [[Steel Mini Roller Coaster]], and shows how to remove trees while building it. Then the new roller coaster is tested, and the tutorial views its test data, then raises its price from $2.00 to $2.50. After that, a new mechanic is hired and the cursor sits idly while you watch the roller coaster dodoes its cycle. Finally, yourthe mousetutorial cursor hovers to the menu and exits to the title screen.
YouThe canplayer is allowed to interfere the tutorial by moving and clicking yourthe mouse a little bit. ThanHowever, youthe cancontrol gotakeover onis forpermanent, yourselfmeaning andthat the tutorialplayer won'tcannot shutgive itselfthe downcontrol back to the tutorial. WhenHowever, youwhen dodone thisproperly after— right before the rollercoastertutorial ismoves buildthe youcursor to exit the park — this can give the haveplayer a little headstart on Forest Frontiers.
