Attaining a speed of 9 mph on flat track, it beats the [[Chairlift]] (due to the increased speed on downward slopes) but loses to the [[Monorail]]. Thus, the Monorail is usually a better option.The Miniature Railroad is also the only transport ride requiring a full circuit; the Monorail can use the "Shuttle mode" operating option, and this is the only option for the Chairlift. The American Style Steam Trains support less cars than the Steam Trains or Steam Trains with Covered Cars. ==Trivia== In Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 & 2, the Miniature Railroad could only operate in a circuit, but in OpenRCT2 and Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, it could operate in shuttle mode.
