Crumbly Woods
Overview
A large park with well-designed, but rather old rides. Replace the old rides or add new rides to make the park more popular.
Crumbly Woods is a park with a good groundwork for a park set up already, with good ride designs. But the rides are incredibly old! The average age of the rides in the park is about 13 years. Thus, they have low reliability and high down-time. So, this park is difficult, but it can be beat by a very simple way.
Achieving the scenario goals will be more difficult if you retain the aged pre-built rides, which doesn't mean that you have to take them out. Replication has the advantage of increasing it's admission price and the disadvantage of replication time and cost. You may wish to replicate the pre-built rides to renew the "Built: This Year" value by closing the original and using it as a guide to chasing with new construction while chipping it away. Although replication is subsidized by the demolition of the original, the result will cost 2/3 that of scratch built, increase reliability and decrease down-time. Helpful hint: When you begin replication and duplicate attributes remember which is being demolished and which is the result by renaming the demolition to X or old then giving the new coaster a new coaster name and color (or choose the original name.)
