Hmm, I don't think we need to create a page for a general discussion because we already have one. You can simply use the Community Portal to dicussion important topics on the wiki. The Forums, which you say haven't worked, are for random discussion about the wiki, like "How to beat Forest Frontiers". I'm not 100% sure if I am correct but that is what I would do anyway. You can also rename the Community Portal a new name. Ex. Call of Duty Wiki:War Room or Runescape Wiki:Yew Grove.
