Puns aside, it's Nevermore Park! Oh boy...I thought my Diamond Heights park knocked a few pylons out of this world, but THIS?! Undoubtedly my best work, yet. Actually finishing this scenario's objective yields a rather interesting story on my part.....

An OpenRCT2-tailored Nevermore Park with over 3,500 guests, made by zachl1226.

Obviously, the objective is to make 10 different coasters that have to reach a certain length AND excitement rating. Before I did anything, I fixed up the pre-made Junior coaster (lovingly known as Grasshopper once I started the scenario) by getting rid of the unnecessary bumps to reduce its nausea rating and it delivers quite well (not to mention, put in all of the staff, shops/stalls/all that jazz, and the obligatory "beginning of the scenario" Merry-Go-Round, too). This scenario was surprisingly hard (even with OpenRCT2 and the extra coaster track designs I downloaded, thanks to the length requirement) and it took a lot of time to research any coasters that were offered in the long run. I'm gonna be kinda honest...I sorta cheated this scenario while trying to achieve the objective. Once I put in Dueling Dips (Side-Friction coaster (that is after looking at the ratings and details before plopping it down)), it apparently didn't reach the 7.00 rating in the final testing results.

Knowing that I used a lot of room with this coaster, I kinda used the cheats to buy the land surrounding the park, even though you don't have the rights to purchase land in Nevermore Park. The same thing happened later with a racing Single-Rail Steeplechase (Horsing Around).

It also didn't help that I thought that I needed ten different TYPES of roller coasters over simply ten coasters, so I was basically challenging myself. I mostly built roller coasters until I achieved the objective. After tons of research and development, the coaster that finally won me the scenario was the dark pink racing Lay-Down coaster, Berries and Cream.

Once the scenario was won, I finally got started with everything else. Expanding the park by filling up the space with every flat ride the scenario offered and more tracked rides (coasters and non-coasters alike). It should be noted that most of the coasters designs you see are pre-made and downloaded. They mostly come from this place called Lunatim's Loopy Land. Honestly glad someone managed to archive the site after it went down so I can get all these rides in. I've always liked Lunatim's track designs. They're well themed, well tracked, and are humungous cash cows.

Needless to say, I didn't make any of these coasters. Not counting the Observation Tower and Roto-Drop, the three things that were made custom by me are Nevermore Dive (Log Flume), Nevermore Speedway (Go Karts)...

...And finally, the incredibly complex, monstrous, quadruple park-wide Monorail shuttle system known as Nevermore Rail. Two Streamlined Monorails (Tomato (Red) & Bread (Orange) Lines) and two Suspended Monorails (Ramen (Yellow) & Rice (Green) Lines) making life easy for guests who want to get to the other side of the park fast.

Constructing most of these rails wasn't too bad and mostly consisted of underground construction. The Tomato & Rice lines were a piece of cake with little to no difficulties, especially with placing quene lines and connecting paths. The Tomato line was ungodly easy to make once it went underground and I had little to no problems getting over to Station 2. The Rice line was ridiculously easy, since every bit of construction took place underground (hilariously as a Suspended Monorail) with the exception of Station 1 (which you can see on the northwest corner of the map alongside Ramen's Station 1). The real challenges however were the Bread & Ramen lines. Each of them consisted of plentiful landscaping during construction. The challenge with the Bread line was getting the train into Station 2. It all boiled down to the last turn, but due to the height of the track in conjunction with the uneven land and water, this was rather difficult to execute. I ultimately decided to at least show the rail briefly outdoors through the turn into the station over some added water. Pulling the turn off required a ton of landscaping, but I did everything in my power to make it manageable.

As for the Ramen line, this was, without a doubt, the hardest line to construct, since there were THREE challenges (not counting underground construction and ordeals) I had to deal with. The first issue was getting the train out of Station 1. Right out of the station, the rail immediately ran into, surprise-surprise, uneven land...and I needed to get the train underground. Because I wanted to make a turn right off the bat, the uneven land was altered significantly for the train to dive into the caverns (needless to say, the nearby vicinity of the Station 1 terminal for the Rice & Ramen lines became a smorgasbord of adjusted terrain, all for two tunnel entrances).

After some underground building, I figured I needed at least one of these rail lines to at least travel outdoors for at least a half of the track. I ended up seeing an opportunity and the Ramen line was the best candidate because it's a suspended monorail and you can get a good view of the rides you pass. Needless to say, this is where the second hard part came in: Constructing the other end of the Ramen line's underground tunnel. I experimented with various locations for the tunnel's exit for at least five minutes before I found a solution. It's undoubtedly convoluted to say the least, but it worked like a charm, literally traveling right under Grasshopper's coaster track.

Immediatly out of the tunnel though, the third challenge awaited me: Heading to Station 2. My original plan was to have the train glide over the station for Nevermore Speedway (and ultimately above the racetrack), but my beloved Floorless Coaster (Green Machine) had other ideas. That being said, I decided to have the train go between the Floorless beauty and the nearby slope. After finding the solution, it was a nice skip and a hop all the way to Station 2.

Once the rail network was finally done, I proceeded to fill in the rest of the park with coasters and other goodies, too. I gotta admit; with all the years that I've been playing RCT2, this was the most creative piece of work I've ever put together. The tracked rides that are in Nevermore Park are aplenty. We have....
