! Description
| colspan="3" align="center" | What was originally supposed to be an experiment to reduce the amount of vertical Gs a rider experiences on an Inverted Impulse Coaster evolved into a rather decent coaster design with equally decent ride statistics. This Inverted Impulse Coaster design gets its name from the fact that running the train empty around the track may occasionally result in a rollback just before the second drop.

! Description
| colspan="3" align="center" | This high-capacity design was originally named "Phoenix", in response to [[Cheat CodesCheats_and_Quirks#RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 and 2 CheatsRCT1|Andy Hine's remarks]] about a mythical ride of the same name, and was created as part of Ancient Dynamics' research into the construction of block sectioned circuits. Despite being a "prototype" of sorts, the original design, while not very compact, was still deemed a cost-effective design given its above average ride ratings and was subsequently refined further, even after the organisation shifted towards building more compact track designs. The current version of ''Phalanx'', shown here, has its chain lift speed reduced slightly to provide for a seamless ride on this 4-block circuit and adds Martian Themeing objects, including Infernal View's volcano trio (sans fire), into the mix, giving it a modest boost to its ride ratings.<br/>'''Uses Martian Themeing objects.'''

! Description
| colspan="6" align="center" | These two tracks are loose clones of the 335-metre ''[https://web.archive.org/web/20170420123907/https://www.vekoma.com/index.php/family-coasters/family-coaster Family Coaster]'' designed by Vekoma Rides Manufacturing. They are relatively airy designs with plenty of space above, under and in between the running rails for placement of scenery/themeing or interlocking with other rides. The initial version of ''Roller Skater'' was given different cars, a new paint job and renamed ''Jungle Japes'' after a more compact clone was created, with the latter inheriting the ''Roller Skater'' name.<br/>'''''Jungle Japes'' uses cars from the Wacky Worlds expansion pack.'''

== RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 ==
==="Fixed" Designs===
A small number of pre-installed track designs included with ''RCT3'' have unusual track element parameters that either defy standard pre-installed track design principles, or feature "bugged" track elements that negatively affect the track design's ride statistics. This sub-section is dedicated to my own modifications of these rides so that they exhibit more "conventional" performance.

It is the intent for these track designs to '''directly''' overwrite the original pre-installed track designs included in ''RCT3''. To this effect, '''any track designs you download from this sub-section should be saved into the "<code>Coaster Designs</code>" subfolder located in your installation folder of ''RCT3'''''.

! Description
| colspan="3" align="center" | Cosmos suffers from a suspected ratings bug in Flying Coasters, which decreases all ride ratings if the track has an inverted section. The full length of the station platform and block brake sections were also not fully utilised, with the single train having only 3 cars out of a possible 5. In addition, the original track design's brake speeds were set to 108 km/h, so the regular brakes did nothing while the block brakes launched the train at unrealistic speeds. The result is an expensive coaster design that has mediocre stats and low throughput.
| colspan="3" align="center" | The "fixed" version replaces the inverted section of track with a non-inverted track section that also includes an additional block brake section. Train length and quantity has been increased to 5 cars per train and a total of 4 trains. Brake speeds have also been set to 28.8 km/h, so regular brakes now actually slow passing trains down, while block brakes give a reasonable launch speed. Finally, the "fixed" version is exactly $100.25 cheaper than the original.

===Original Designs===
The designs in this subsection serve the same purpose in ''RCT2'' as the rides featured in the "RollerCoaster Tycoon 2" section further up this page. Any track designs you download from this sub-section should be saved into the "<code>RCT3\Coasters</code>" subfolder located in your Documents folder.

! Description
| colspan="3" align="center" | This is a high-capacity, semi-compact 4-block circuit design featuring two barrel rolls and a large vertical loop that interlocks with a helix. The amount of empty space at ground level means that this design can be used alongside most scenery/theming objects. This is a direct conversion of Ancient Dynamics' ''magnum opus'' from ''RCT2'' into ''RCT3'' and, remarkably, provides a similar ride experience and cost as it does in the former with no changes made to the track layout beyond increased train length.
