This is an operation mode which launches cars at specified speed from the station.

This is an option for following Roller Coasters (RCT1 LL):
*Inverted Roller Coaster
*Stand-Up Steel Roller Coaster
Line 9:
*Steel Roller Coaster
The Air-Powered Vertical Coaster always runs in this mode. The Reverse Whoa Belly Roller Coaster has a smiliar mode, the LIM powered launch. You can't directly adjust the speed there, the car speeds up more the longer the track is.

Powered launch coasters can be easily abused by creating many cheap and similar coasters in one park. This allows the player to attract vastly more guests and earn a lot more money than otherwise normally. For example, Forest Frontiers with many powered coasters can achieve as many as 1,500 guests with a company value of over $60,000 by October , Year 1.

Reverse-Incline Circuit Mode
Cars are carried backwards up a lift hill, then released back down, travels through the track, and then travels backwards back to the station platform. Coasters which allow that mode (also RCT 1 LL):
*Stand-Up Steel Roller Coaster
*Steel Corkscrew Roller Coaster
*Steel Mini Roller Coaster
*Steel Roller Coaster
*Suspended Looping Roller Coaster
