* In comparison to the Lay-down Roller Coaster, the Flying Roller Coaster is more expensive and has slightly fewer options for inversions, but it has a higher natural excitement rating and its trains also have a higher maximum capacity of 32 passengers.
** Since OpenRCT2 v0.4.2 and v0.4.3, the Flying Roller Coaster now has more special track piece options, including quarter and large half loops, as well as boosters in both flying and laying-down positions.
